Arriving in the Capital of Vietnam; Hanoi, enjoy three nights to take in all that this vibrant city has to offer. Enjoy a full day city tour including visits to the Mausoleum and Presidential Palace before stopping to sample a local Vietnamese lunch. A must for any visitor and the best way to get around is by cyclo through the narrow streets of the old quarter, enjoying the hustle and bustle of this chaotic scene. For those with an adventurous palate, you will enjoy the street food tour, an essential part of visiting Hanoi….even if you’re not brave enough to sample all of the offerings!

1 Night - Halong Bay Junk Cruise
A world famous UNESCO Heritage site; Halong Bay, can only be described as breath-taking. We include an afternoon’s cruise, enjoying lunch as you head towards the secluded islands. Visit limestone caves, and try sea kayaking or take a swim in the sparkling waters before heading back on-board to settle in for the night; watch the sunset, and take time to relax over your freshly prepared seafood dinner served under the stars. The next morning reinvigorate with an early swim, and a leisurely breakfast while slowly sailing back to the main harbour.

2 Nights - Hue - Best Western Indochine Palace
From Halong your flight to Hue takes just about an hour, here you can get a taste of the countries imperial past; once the capital; Hue’s regal history can still be seen from the citadel and the imperial city, which you will visit on the full day tour, including the resting place of the Emperors at two of the most impressive Royal Tombs. In the evening join us on a cruise along the Perfume River; its name taken from the actual scent of flowers that have fallen into the river from the surrounding orchards.

2 Nights - Hoi An - Vinh Hung Riverside

Continue to Hoi An by road via the Hai Van pass; renowned by its spectacular beauty; this winding road crosses over a spur of the Annamite Range that emerges from the west and juts into the South China Sea. Hoi An is impressively home to over 800 protected buildings and a meeting place for local fishing communities. Cycle out to the countryside through emerald green rice paddies, arriving at the village of Tra Que to walk around the vegetable gardens and help the local farmers plant and pick their crops. Finish off this light hearted visit with a cooking demonstration, even using the veggies you picked earlier. On your return to Hoi an, board the eco tour boat for a river cruise to meet local fishermen, and get a real hands on experience as you join in with river net fishing, before paddling a unique bamboo basket boat exploring the areas coconut palmed waterways.

3 Nights - Saigon - Grand Hotel
Your flight from Hoi An sees your arrival in Saigon, a destination that is truly eye opening; a city of contrasts, from age old tradition to glitzy bars and boutique hotels; a myriad of old meets new. Ho Chi Minh City is very much at the heart of Vietnam’s business activity, yet retains its connections to its colourful past. Exploring this magnificent city; visit temples and pagodas and see how the French left their mark in some fine colonial-era buildings. The Reunification Palace is a must see and one of the most important buildings and represents the end of the ‘American War’. Vietnam’s war history continues with a visit to the museum and Chu Chi tunnels. Binh Tay Market awaits late afternoon, a lively and busy atmosphere with plenty of noise; this ‘Big Market’ sells something and everything. Our fantastic tour ends with a relaxing days cruise around the luxuriant Mekong Delta, on-board a converted rice barge Le Jarai, and also a small local boat, visiting villages lines with coconut palms; enjoying a three course lunch before returning to Saigon by road.
